Dog Shoes for Dogs

Dogs shoes are more than just fashion statements
Even though your dog will look adorable in his new shoes, they serve a bigger purpose. Protect your little friends paws from hot sidewalks during the hot summer month walks. When walking through the city you also have other hazards to contend with. Broken glass, sharp rocks or hot tar can really cause your dog some discomfort. A sandal provides protection while not being too hot or binding.
When hiking a trail or exploring the woods at your local park, your dogs paws are susceptible to stickers and burrs or scratches from rocks or thorns. A shoe that covers the paw protects best here.
During the winter months snow and ice can get in between your dogs toes and be very uncomfortable, or even cause frostbite in extreme cases. A nice snow boot keeps them dry and warm.
If your dog has allergies, shoes help keep the outside outside. If she scratches when she shouldn't, a nice pair of slippers keeps her from hurting herself.
The main reason my dog wears shoes is mud from a heavy rain. It is much easier to remove muddy shoes than to try cleaning all fours before she comes inside!
Dog shoes for dogs come in a variety of styles and colors. You may think " my dog would never..." but you will be surprised at how soon they become accustomed to them. My basset hound looked at me like I was crazy the first time I put on her rain boots. She nipped at them, tugged at them and even walked shaking her paws trying to rid herself from them. It actually made a comical video! After a few minutes, however we were outside and the shoes were forgotten. She now has a pair for every occasion!

Yes! Very cute-- and practical. Not sure my dog would go for it. Our previous pup had a fit if you tried to touch his feet.
